Yetunde Olasope

Yetunde Olasope is a Partner at McPherson Barristers and Solicitors, a full-service Law Practice, based in Lagos, Nigeria.

She holds a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She possesses over 15 years’ experience in legal practice as a both a practitioner in a law firm and as an adviser on legal matters within corporate entities.

She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K).

Yetunde’s initial work experience was garnered from a one of Nigeria’s leading law firm’s- Templars Barristers and Solicitors- where she served as a core member of the Corporate Commercial and Finance practice teams. There, she had tremendous exposure to Banking and Finance, Capital Market and diverse Corporate transactions. From Templars, she moved on to Honeywell Group Limited, a Nigerian conglomerate where she served and Manager, Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Team Lead, for Commercial Transactions.

 Prior to becoming a Partner at McPherson, Yetunde served as Head of Legal and Compliance at Primera Africa Securities Limited (a member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange) a role which she combined with being legal adviser to companies within the Primera Africa Finance Group which include a Microfinance Bank, and a Financial Advisory Services business.

Yetunde strongly believes in a transformed Nigeria- where citizens bear an undisputable sense of ownership, belonging and pride- and is committed to being a part the nation’s success story of transformation.

She is a co-founder and Trustee of KHAN Regenesis, and presently serves as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees.

Yetunde also serves as a Director on the Board The Girl Child Global Services Limited- a Nigerian company focused on female development and empowerment.
